I’m a destination wedding photographer who has traveled all across the United States and internationally to tell love stories. With By Hailey Nicole, you get a photographer who listens to your vision and priorities and plans alongside your vendor team to bring your wedding to life. Assistance with location scouting, coordination with your vendor team, and coverage of all wedding events come standard so all you have to do is show up and be present.

Destination Information & FAQ’s

  • Yes! My passport is always up to date, so destination weddings across the U.S., Mexico, Europe, and beyond are all on the table. If you have a location in mind, include it in your inquiry and you’ll get a custom quote.

  • Yes I do ! Depending on your date and location, this can mean reduced travel fees, a reduced collection price, or both. Mention your location in your inquiry to see what’s available!

  • Travel will be included within your quoted price. This covers flights, lodging, and ground transportation, so there are no surprise fees after you book.

    All travel is typically booked by me, so you never have to coordinate flights or lodging. If you prefer me to stay on site with you, or at the same resort as you, please let me know so we can arrange this!

  • Everyone’s planning timeline is different. Most destination couples book 8-12 months in advance, however I have booked destination work with a month and a half’s notice. If I’m available, I’ll be there!

  • Some resorts, especially in Mexico and the Caribbean, charge a fee for outside vendors. Often, they can waive this if you have me stay on resort, which is often the most convenient for coverage of your wedding events anyway. Make sure to check with your venue directly!

  • I’ve found that most of my destination couples prefer having multiple of their wedding events covered. In addition to the wedding day itself, this may include welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, and day after sessions. Since I’m already there, it’s one of the best added values of a destination wedding!

  • I always aim to arrive early so there is buffer for potential travel delays. For weather, I’m willing to continue shooting as long as it is safe to do so. We can always have a backup plan if this isn’t your cup of tea.

  • Yes! I am always happy to help you research planners and other vendors - whether they will be traveling as well or local.
